ABOUT US
The Girl Lab was founded by celebrity fashion stylist Monica Cargile, whose career has been dedicated to helping people look and feel their best. While working closely with clients in the spotlight, Monica witnessed something powerful—how the right outfit could do more than just make someone look good. It could completely transform how they felt about themselves. A simple style choice often sparked a noticeable shift: better posture, brighter energy, a new level of self-assurance.
What began as a momentary confidence boost on set would often ripple out into much bigger changes. Clients began speaking up with renewed confidence, setting higher goals, and stepping more fully into who they were meant to be. That’s when Monica realized—this wasn’t just about fashion. It was about identity and presence.
She often thought: What if I had understood this earlier? What if I had known, as a young girl, that style could be a tool for confidence, self-expression, and even self-worth?
That question led to the creation of The Girl Lab—a space where girls ages 11–17 can explore the deeper meaning of how we show up in the world. This is more than just learning to “dress well.” It’s about understanding the psychological and social influence of clothing, building lasting confidence from the inside out, and embracing self-expression as a superpower.
Through curated workshops and experiences, The Girl Lab empowers every girl to discover her unique voice, style, and confidence—one outfit, one conversation, and one moment at a time.
